EDUCATION:
Thomas W. Rumpke is a 1995 graduate from the University of Dayton, Cum Laude. After working for retired Wyoming Supreme Court Justice Robert R. Rose in private practice, Tom worked at the Attorney General’s Office before returning to practice law in his native Kentucky.
LEGAL PRACTICE:
In 2004, Tom returned to the Attorney General’s Office where he worked in both the Tort Litigation and Natural Resources Divisions engaging in general civil litigation. In 2013, Governor Matt Mead appointed Tom to the District Court bench in Gillette where he served for almost nine years. Tom presided over more than 50 trials during his time as a District Judge. Tom returned to private practice with WPDN where he will continue to engage in general civil and criminal litigation.
ON THE SIDE:
Tom returned to private practice with WPDN where he will continue to engage in general civil and criminal litigation. Tom and his wife, Melissa have five children. When Melissa is not home schooling their children, she performs with the Cheyenne Chamber Singers and accompanies various choirs on piano. The entire family attends Northwoods Presbyterian Church.
